Hair Dryers: High heat from hair dryers can damage synthetic and fiber blended wigs and hairpieces. However, with human hair you can use brushes and blow dryers to style your hair in the desired direction and way that you want.
Curling Irons/ Flat Irons: Hot irons can be used on dry human hair pieces and wigs. They are especially good to do a quick "touch-up" on your hair style. You can use the same techniques as you would on anyone's own hair. Combing through the hair first to smooth and even out prior to passing irons through hair will elliminate frizzing.
If your desired hair style changes often, you can have a curly style one day and then selectively flatten out the hairpiece or wig for a straight style or gently sweeping curves.
Roller Sets: (Setting hair after washing and conditioning) Many wonderful styles can be achieved using various kinds of roller sizes and types. Now you can set your human hair wig or hair piece to any size and direction to create many styling possibilities; even pin curls can add a closer to the head type of style.
